Canadian pianist Sophia Liu is rapidly emerging as one of the most compelling artists of her generation.

Born in Shanghai and raised in Japan, Sophia moved to Montreal at the age of seven to study with Dang Thai Son. Her 25/26 season opens with her NHK Symphony debut in Tokyo and Osaka, and takes her to the Konzerthaus Berlin, Teatro La Fenice, Opéra National de Lyon and La Roque d’Anthéron.
